Caribbean Sweet Hot Dills

A sweet-and-spicy pickle recipe that transforms plain dill pickles into a unique snack with bold flavor.

  1. Drain pickles and cut into chunks.
  2. In the pickle jar, layer: pickles, sugar, Tabasco, and garlic. Repeat until jar is full.
  3. Seal and let stand upright 12 hours. Flip upside down for another 12 hours.
  4. Repeat flipping daily until sugar dissolves completely (2–4 days).
  5. Once syrupy, store in the fridge and enjoy.
