About Antillean Coast and Our Responsibility
Antillean Coast was founded with a mission: to bring the unique flavors of Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire to the Dutch and European markets. We noticed a gap in authentic Dutch Caribbean offerings—while flavors such as Jamaican jerk are well-known, the culinary traditions of the Dutch Caribbean islands remain largely underrepresented in the Netherlands. With deep cultural ties between the Netherlands and the islands of the Dutch Caribbean, Antillean Coast seeks to bridge this gap and introduce these vibrant, authentic flavors to a wider audience.

Our founder, Claude de Cuba, was born and raised in Aruba before coming to the Netherlands to study. After college, he decided to stay, exploring several business ideas before realizing his true calling lay in sharing the rich culinary heritage of his home. Antillean Coast was born out of his passion for bringing a taste of the Caribbean part of our Kingdom to the European side of it.

At Antillean Coast, we pride ourselves on authenticity. Our recipes stay close to their traditional roots, ensuring each product reflects the original flavors of the Caribbean. While we honor these authentic recipes, we also add our own twists, crafting flavors that are both true to tradition and tailored for the modern palate. We don’t cut corners or compromise on quality; our aim is to deliver a genuine taste experience that transports you straight to the sunny shores of the Caribbean.

Whether you’re new to these flavors or longing for a taste of home, Antillean Coast is here to share the authentic tastes of Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire—right in the heart of Europe.
Our Responsibility
At Antillean Coast, what we make and how we make it are equally important to us.
Every product we make is entirely plant-based. Not as a statement, but because it makes sense. The Antillean kitchen is naturally rooted in plants. The peppers, the fruits, the herbs, the flavors we grew up with never needed anything else to taste like home. Where creativity is needed, nature provides. Seaweed for a deep, briny note. Smoked spices for richness. The pantry is bigger than most people think.
You also won't find animals in our advertising. It simply isn't part of how we tell our story.
The islands we come from, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, sit low in a warming ocean. They face drought, rising seas, and shifting weather patterns that people there feel in their daily lives. The connection between how we produce food and the health of our planet is something we take personally.
We are not here to lecture anyone. We are here to make products we are proud of, built around a belief that most people already share: that nature is worth taking care of.
That belief is baked into everything we make.
