Caribbean Beer Bread
This quick bread comes together with just three ingredients, making it perfect for when you want homemade bread without the fuss. The beer gives it a light rise and a subtle malty flavor.

Ingredients
- 375 g self-rising flour
- 40 g sugar
- 330 ml beer (room temperature)
- 15 g melted plant-based butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Sift flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in the beer and stir until just combined — do not overmix.
- Transfer dough into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hour until golden and firm.
- Remove from oven, brush top with melted butter, and return to warm oven (turned off) for a few minutes.
- Slice and serve immediately.
