Swiss Chard Stalks in Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • 450 g Swiss chard stalks, chopped
  • 240 ml water
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 25 g salt (adjust to taste)
  • 180 ml lemon juice (fresh)
  • 120 g tahini paste

Instructions

  1. Boil chard stalks in 480 ml water. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Drain, chop coarsely, then mash lightly with a pestle or fork.
  3. Crush garlic with salt, stir in lemon juice and tahini until smooth.
  4. Mix sauce with the chard, blend well, and transfer to small serving dishes.
